(500) Days of Winter

I had to. Winter is my middle name. The movie is actually (500) Days of Summer. I finally saw it. Twice.
I just woke up one day and I knew.
Knew what?
What I was never sure of with you.

If I've been a little slow on the posting lately, it's only because I'm loving being home. I just take in every moment with my family and friends. Example: my family just baked cookies and rented Julie&Julia. I fell asleep by the fire 10 minutes into the movie. It was wonderful. Merry Christmas, everyone.

And the angel said unto them, Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all the people.
Luke 2:10

"Some people think it's holding on that makes one strong. Sometimes it's letting go."

*To the person who sent me this quote... you know who you are... thank you.

I'm in Love...

This movie has so many things wonderful about it. First off, it is based off of a Nicholas Sparks book. Notebook, anyone? Secondly, Amanda Seyfried plays a girl named Savannah. She is beautiful and so is the name. Last and most importantly, Channing Tatum is John. We finally get to see our favorite love interest in clean cut buttondowns and army gear instead of ghetto sweatpants and sideways hats... although, I can't argue that he didn't still look good rocking the hip hop attire in Step Up and the soccer gear in She's the Man, two of my favorites... I can't wait until February.

"She not only saw a light at the end of the tunnel, she became that light for others. Celebrate her compassion." -Kobi Yamada, She...
“I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so you can learn to appreciate them when they’re right. You believe lies so you can eventually learn to trust no one but yourself… and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”

*I know this quote seems a little bit overused and contrived, but I just came across it on my computer, and it applies almost perfectly to my life right now. Maybe Marilyn was onto something... little did she know she would be quoted by every girl in the world.
