And i said what about...
breakfast at tiffany's i wish i looked as pretty in the morning as Holly Golightly. instead of a fresh hairdo, i have crazy bedhead, and instead of Cat waiting patiently, i have dogs licking my face. at least i don't have Mr. Yunioshi screaming at me... what an unpleasant wake up call.
Nobody's perfect
"All my life I've wanted to be one of American Ballet Company's perfect ballerinas. I wanted to be you, Juliette. But I'm not you, and I'm not perfect, I'm just me, bad feet and all, and I'm starting to think that I like that just as much."

**one of the most important lessons I ever learned from a movie
Beautiful music by beautiful people
Seriously by Crosby Loggins
I’ve got a life in my hands
I barely know what I’m doing
She doesn’t quite understand
This is not like the movies where everything fades to black
And it's all happy endings but that’s just pretending
'Cause the world doesn’t work like that
It's always changing
She’s sick of waiting
Her patience is over
And she can see the other side tonight
Her head needs my shoulder
But I don’t have the heart to tell her
This song is beautiful, and so is he <3

"She realized she was lucky - because she could actually see it - how the trees got more beautiful each year...how they danced with such graceful pride, surviving each season's change...and she knew their beauty lied not in the perfection, but the growth...and she could see it - in the trees, the people around her, and some days, even in herself...and so she would dance"
Yet another epic love story...
If today is one of those days... here's to you
"I’ve made mistakes in my life.
I’ve let people take advantage of me,
and I’ve accepted way less than I deserve.
But I’ve learned from my bad choices
and even though there are some things I can never get back
and people who will never be sorry,
I’ll know better next time
and I won’t settle for anything less than I deserve."

I'll Always Be a Girly Girl at Heart
I've decided what new decorations I want for my new apartment: Simply Shabby Chic. I've spent a few years trying to put a finger on what I want my room's style to say about me. I really love girly classics (I'm not a fan of trendy) and also love it when nothing matches exactly, but everything just goes together. I love colors, but I don't love rainbow explosions of neon brights like I did in middle school. I also love white. Ruffles are a must, along with anything floral-- as I mentioned in my confession about my wedding obsession, I love flowers-- especially hydrangeas. And roses and lilies. Take a look at anything by Rachel Ashwell and you will see everything that embodies the romantic, girly side of me.
dance like no one is watching...
"Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are great because of their passion." — Martha Graham

"To dance is to be out of yourself. Larger, more beautiful, more powerful.. This is power, it is glory on earth and it is yours for the taking"
"Some dance to remember, some dance to forget. "
— The Eagles
Classic Love Story
"He smiled understandingly--much more than understandingly. It was one of those rare smiles with a quality of eternal reassurance in it, that you may come across four or five times in life. It faced--or seemed to face--the whole external world for an instant, and then concentrated on you with an irresistible prejudice in your favor. It understood you just as far as you wanted to be understood, believed in you as you would like to believe in yourself."
-F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
Current Obsession (I)
My recent obsession: weddings. I don't know what it is about them; maybe it's my also recent obsession with flowers, or it could be the urgentI'm-going-to-be-an-old-maid-forever-feeling you get after a break up, or possibly the pressure stemming from ABC's new "Marry Me Monday" programs... whatever the reason, I love weddings. The dress, the veil, the cake, the church, the bouquets, the rings, the vows-- all of it. I have picked out a few of these, but Lord knows I'm the most indecisive, fickle girl in the world and tomorrow I could completely oppose the idea of marriage altogether (just kidding... that would never happen... would it?) See what I mean...
I'm Yours--Jason Mraz
leave the heartache to country music
"he used to wear it on the weekends just running around, probably forgot he even left it behind. she says it keeps her warm, oh, but it's so much more... it makes her feel close. makes her smile, it's like he's with her almost-- till the tears take over. she's still in hell, but she tells herself she's ready to let him go... cause that makes her feel close" -rascal flatts
