"When I wake the trumpets play, and I'm standing at the gates. Fall down in joy, I know my race has just been won."

*Can't believe it's been 4 years already. So much has changed, but the girls have never left our minds. Love you Jamie, Jessica, and Melissa... You are forever missed.
“You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have really lived are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love...
On that last analysis, then, love is life. Love never faileth and life never faileth so long as there is love.”
Henry Drummond, The Greatest Thing in the World and Other Addresses

*It's amazing the people who come into your life and say some of the most beautiful things. It reminds me of a Grey's quote I think I've posted before: "At the end of the day faith is a funny thing. It turns up when you don't really expect it... once in a while, once in a blue moon, people will surprise you, and once in a while people may even take your breath away."
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it does not keep records of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perserveres."
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

**I went to a beautiful wedding tonight and, as expected, this passage of the Bible was read. No matter how many times I hear it, however, it still resonates with me as being the best love quote of all time. No love song lyrics, romantic movie quotes, or fictional story passages can compete with the true, heartfelt words of scripture.

Here's to You, Earth!

I can't help but continuously use Sarah's photos as inspirations for my blog posts. Everytime I am feeling uninspired, I just look at her pictures and bursts of life and color flash across the screen. I figured that in the spirit of Earth Day, I would take another opportunity to display my lovely best friend's art. Thanks, S.
"When you send your spirit, they are created and you renew the face of the earth."
Psalms 104
Beautiful Angels
"Cause there's holes in the floor of heaven, and her tears are pouring down. That's how you know she's watching, wishing she could be here now. And sometimes when I'm lonely, I remember she can see. There's holes in the floor of heaven and she's watching over you and me."February 10, 2008

Always in our Hearts
...
memories,
my faith,
sing along
If I've been a little slow on the posting lately, it's only because I'm loving being home. I just take in every moment with my family and friends. Example: my family just baked cookies and rented Julie&Julia. I fell asleep by the fire 10 minutes into the movie. It was wonderful. Merry Christmas, everyone.
And the angel said unto them, Be not afraid; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all the people.
Luke 2:10
